President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday night held a meeting with the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the founding National Chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande.
The details of the Meeting held at the official residence of the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, is however still sketchy.
Asiwaju Tinubu is believed to be warming up to contest the 2023 presidential election. Though he has not officially announced his intention, recent activities of his associates suggest that a well oiled campaign plan is being put in place.
Similarly, President Buhari met behind closed doors with the Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum.
The meeting was said to have centred on the security situation in the governor’s state.
