Three Killed, Two Others Sustain Injuries As Gunmen Attack Plateau Community

Gunmen, on Sunday night, have reportedly killed three persons and injured two others when they attacked the Maiyanga community in Bokkos LGA of Plateau State.

A resident of Maiyanga community, Bulus Sule, quoted in a report by The Punch,  said those injured had been evacuated to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment

Sule said: “It was last night (Sunday) that the gunmen came and attacked the people in Maiyanga community. They shot three persons dead while two persons sustained gunshot injuries. The shooting was just too much. Right now, the community is in pain.”

Another resident of the community, Ilya, who spoke to The Punch, said the attack had been reported to the security agents who, he said, arrived in the community some hours after the gunmen had fled the scene.
