Three people have reportedly died when a section of the Stephen Keshi International Stadium, Asaba, the Delta State capital under construction, collapsed on Wednesday.
The structure, under construction ahead of the National Sports Festival scheduled to hold at the stadium this year, was recently inspected by the Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Sunday Dare.
Though, the cause of the collapse is yet to be ascertained, reports say it may not be unconnected with the rush to deliver the project ahead of the deadline for delivery.
