There is currently a disruption of free flow of vehicular movements following a protest by some communities bordering the 33 Artillery Brigade, Bauchi.

The residents, who are out in their numbers, said they were protesting against the “forceful eviction” from their ancestral homes.

The protesters blocked the Bauchi-Jos Road, hindering motorists from going in and out of the Bauchi metropolis. The road close to Zaranda Hotel Bauchi, a few meters to the gate of the Artillery Brigade was also blocked by the protesters, forcing motorists to look for alternative routes.
