Nigeria Is Fast Becoming A Failed State, Peter Obi Warns

A former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has joined the growing list of prominent Nigerians expressing concerns about the current challenges facing the country, warning that Nigeria is fast becoming a failed state.

The 2019 vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gave the warning on his Twitter handle on Wednesday, advising that Nigerians, irrespective of party affiliations, must join hands in tackling the challenges facing the country.

“All Nigerians, irrespective of party and other affiliations, should immediately join hands to tackle the spectre of insecurity, poverty, and unemployment that are now ruling and ruining our dear country. We are fast becoming a failed state.

“We cannot allow the downward spiral to continue. The government should also urgently seek foreign help,” he tweeted.

Obi said this amid the attacks on police personnel and formations in the South-East region where he hails from
