The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shifted the for the commencement of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The board, which announced July as the commencement date for the examination, also announced May 29 as the new deadline for registration of intending candidates.
The Registrar of JAMB, Prof Is-haq Oloyede, disclosed these at a press conference on Saturday in Abuja.
The JAMB Registrar had during a Saturday virtual meeting with some officials of the examination body, lamented that over 600,000 prospective candidates have not being able to register due issues associated with the National Identification Number (NIN)
