Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi on Tuesday, parried questions on rumours that he is eyeing the presidency in 2023, choosing to go spiritual instead.
The Governor, who spoke as a guest on Arise Television programme, ‘The Morning Show’, said it is an honour to be named among those considered capable to lead the country after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said: “Whatever plans God has for me shall be revealed in due course.”
Fayemi however said that his immediate preoccupation were to effectively discharge his responsibilities as governor of Ekiti State and help reposition the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
