End Of The Road - Poly Student, Five Others Nabbed For Alleged Armed Robbery

A student of the Abia State Polytechnic, 25-year-old Uzoma Samuel has been arrested alongside his gang members for allegedly robbing and killing two Point of Sale (POS) operators in Aba, the Abia State capital.

Samuel and his gang members were alleged to have robbed and killed Godwin Chimaobi Igbokwe, a native of Isuikwuato LGA and Ezinne Grace Iroh, aged 23, from Ohafia LGA both in Aba.

Other members of the gang arrested by the Inspector General of Police Rapid Response Team (IRT) attached to the Aba Area Command are Godwin Apeh (32), from Olamaboro LGA, Kogi State; Sunday Chibuike (22), from Ezinifite Mbaise LGA of Imo State; Godswill Kalu (23), from Ohafia LGA of Abia State; Chibuzor Gabriel (21) from Oshiri LGA of Ebonyi State and Abraham Thompson (27), an Indigene of Oron LGA in Akwa Ibom State.

Samuel, the gang leader and other suspects have reportedly confessed to the crimes, disclosing that their aim was to rob the victims, but the operations turned bloody.
