In a bid to prevent the spread of deadly variant of COVID-19 in the country, the Federal Government on Monday extended the work from home rule for civil servants from Grade Level 12 and below to June 11, 2021.
The Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 domiciled in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, disclosed this on Monday adding that the work from home rule will be reviewed on June 11.
This is coming on the heels of concerns about deadly COVID-19 strains in India, South Africa, Turkey and Brazil, necessitating the reintroduction of some measures which were put in place during the second COVID-19 wave in Nigeria.
