Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani of the All Progressives Congress {APC} has emerged the first female elected female governor in Nigeria.
Binani, was on Sunday declared the winner of the Adamawa State governorship election after the completion of the governorship supplementary election conducted on Saturday by the Independent National Electoral Commission {INEC}.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa just made the declaration following the supplementary election held Saturday.
