Bandits have again unleashed their reign of terror on Kaduna communities as they invaded Birnin Gwari and Giwa local government areas of the state, killing nine persons.
This was disclosed in a statement by the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan on Thursday. He however fail to disclose when the attacks took place.
According to the commissioner, security reports indicated that the heavily-armed bandits barricaded the Dogon Dawa-Kuyello Road, after Ungwan Gajere village in Birnin Gwari LGA and shot six persons dead.
He gave the names of those killed as Nura Rufai, Sanusi Gajere, Yakubu Labbo, Usman Dangiwa, Alhaji Abdulhamid, Janaidu Tsalhatu.
He further disclosed that at Ungwan Maje in Birnin Gwari LGA, the bandits killed two persons – Haruna Dotu and Hamisu Mohammad, while at Kwama village in Giwa LGA, on Nasiru Rufai was killed.
